Soccer, Bea Pomatto

Sophomore Bea Pomatto said every time she steps out on the soccer field for a game she sets goals for herself. Bea said she loves playing for the hometown crowd.
Pomatto is the goalie for the junior varsity soccer team; she said her team’s goals for the season are simple.
“We want more communication and talking, goals, and more shots on goals,” Pomatto said.
Pomatto said she strives to accomplish a shut out -not getting scored on- every game. When she doesn’t accomplish her goal, she said she puts all her effort into getting on the ground and trying to stop the ball.
Pomatto said she knows she will mainly play junior varsity.
“I’m a girl, I’m on a co-ed team with all guys, I’m probably not going to get a lot of varsity time. I just like being part of the team,” she said.
