What do you plan to do after high school?
I plan to attend JCCC where I will work towards a Graphic Design Degree and then transfer to KU where I will graduate with a degree in Arts for Graphic Design.
What is your inspiration wanting to do this?
Technology is everything now. If you’re not in the now, you’re wasting your time. Graphic Design is just a computer-aided version of drawing and making things; the stuff I do best. So why not get with the times and the evolution of technology?
What is your best experience while attending PHS?
I can’t say I have one because I’m not going to a school where I am learning to do one thing. I would summarize my high-school experience with dedication and integrity. Without these two, it is impossible to finish or even start. The dedication to wake up on time and not procrastinate on assignments is important. So is the integrity to do what needs to get done, study, finish the assignment and turn it in on time. It’s all a test of who is college material and who is not.
What do you think is the legacy your class will leave on PHS?
The legacy of our class will be left by those who have a picture or a trophy in the halls of PHS. The rest of us will be forgotten. We didn’t do anything outstanding and if we did, there is surely another class to come and outdo it. Not everyone needs to be known when they leave. I think the only legacy some will leave is when they are famous and people will know they came from PHS.
What teacher inspired you the most?
Art teacher Deanna Morgan because she pushed me and believed in me more than anyone. She is my friend and I am so happy to have met her.
