Senior Ashlyn Watson’s best memory while attending the high school is meeting her best friend senior Skyler Hughes. Watson said she met Skyler when, Heather Kauk, English teacher, encouraged her to socialize.
“Skyler is a huge part of my life,” Watson said.
Watson’s plan for after graduating is to save up to go to school to become a special effects make-up artist. Watson has practiced special effects makeup for years and thinks it’s cool.
Watson felt sad about not having classes for the rest of the school year, but passes time by hanging out with Hughes, working and sleeping.
Watson said she will miss her teachers and friends most after graduating.
Watson said her class’s legacy is being the first group of freshmen to be taught by Kauk.
Watson said her best learning experience while at the high school was that drama isn’t important.
“Drama is irrelevant and nobody really cares about it,” Watson said.
