The big-screen television in the commons is to be used for learning purposes.

“As soon as the all the cables are equipped, we plan to use the television for educational purposes and for announcements,” Principal Jerry Henn said.

Henn added a few students will be responsible for announcements.

Senior Chris Wheatley is working on public service announcements in Pam Fette’s multimedia class.

Henn and Wheatley said students will benefit from the television when it is in full use.

“The television in the commons area was purchased by PHS from the office funds,” Henn said.
