Sandra Buntin, vocal music instructor, said she was excited to introduce two new classes to her curriculum this year.
Buntin introduced World Music Appreciation and American Music Appreciation as replacements for General Music and Music Motivation.
“The classes are planned very similar,” Buntin explained. “But the new names better represent the classes.”
Junior Brittany McBroom said she is enjoying World Music Appreciation.
McBroom said, “You still get to watch movies and write papers, but you have to pay attention more.”
Buntin, who has taught at Paola for 33 years, said she was especially excited to have her new room in sophomore hall.
Buntin said she is looking forward to continue to add new countries to her lessons and welcome more students to her program.
