Emma Johnson, Public relations manager

What do you plan to do after high school?
I plan on going into nursing school at Johnson County. I want to go into nursing because I want to help people.

What is your inspiration for wanting to go into nursing?
My inspiration is my mom because she was a wonderful nurse and mom. My mom was a selfless person when she was working and with her family. She would put other people’s health and emotions before herself. Whenever I got sick when I was younger, my mom would be my personal nurse and try her best to get me back to being healthy. I miss mom every day and I love her with all of my heart.

What has been your best memory while attending PHS?
My best memories are seeing my friends at school and going to the games and dances.

What do you think is the legacy your class will leave on PHS?
The legacy I think my class will leave behind is being the Class of 2020!

What are you doing to pass the time while during our stay-at-home order?
I am doing homework, watching TV, playing on my phone, and cleaning my room.

How did you feel about not having class for the rest of the school year?
I was sad, but at the same time, I am happy that I don’t have to get up early to go to school.

What will you miss most about PHS?
The thing I will miss the most is seeing my friends.

What was your best learning experience at the high school or while in high school?
My best learning experience is having responsibilities and learning how to do them. The responsibilities I learned from high school are that I have due dates, I can’t be late for anything, and that it takes 20 tries just to open my locker.
