When sitting in the dark it feels scary but even worse when a thunderstorm is raging, I hear the rain pitter-patter on the deck and grill. Hearing the thunder and seeing the lightning illuminating up the sky like fireworks on the 4th of July.

Seeing the car’s headlights and cars tail lights driving on 311st are almost blinding.

The thunder is loud and the lighting is bright, but not scary until and huge crash of thunder and lightning strike. feeling the vibration causes now my hair all on my body standing up on the ends.

I smell the air and it smells fresh and damp. I taste the air and it tastes cool and moist on my tongue. The air tastes clean because the dust in the air in gone due to the rain.

Lightning and thunder is going off about every minute all around me. I soon feel peace just listening to the rain fall on the ground and watching the lightning.
